Dascom Technology VAS2000

Introduction

Telecom operators are making every effort to compete in the value added services market today to increase market share and revenue. An effective and reliable platform delivering creative and profitable services is key to their success.

Under normal network environment, telecom operators may have different value added service platforms, which are IN based provided by the switch vendors or service-node based provided by service-node vendors. If new VAS platform is added, flexibility of internetworking between new value added service platform and these existing platforms is very important. Furthermore, flexibility of integrating the new value added service platform with other BSS/OSS system, such as Billing or CRM system is also important.

VAS 2000 is an IN technology based system that Dascom Technology offers to help telecom operators rapidly create and deploy creative and profitable value-added services in telecom carrier's network. In addition, VAS2000 provides the best interworking and integration flexibility to the telecom operators in utilizing the existing value added services platforms and BSS/OSS systems.

Dascom Technology VAS2000 IN solution is backed up by China National IN Research Laboratory to ensure the solution is kept pace with new technology development, such as IP phone and multimedia applications. It is developed based on the technology from the Beijing University of Post and Telecom.
